Keeley got up early

And said Goodbye to Bunny

It was a lovely day to be going away                                   

Everything bright and sunny

 

She was leaving her wee family

But she really wasn’t sad

She lifted her book to have a look

Her little heart was glad

 

She would miss her Mummy and Daddy

And her Little Sis

But before she left them all bereft

Everyone would get a kiss

 

“Now hurry up there, Keeley”

She heard her Mummy say

You don’t want to be late on your first date

With your new school today.
