CONTINUATION OF HAREM HOLIDAY OR RED RED WINE!

They stood still as statues gazing at the door
Wanted to flee but their bodies were sore
Hot bath and cool drink was all that they craved
But the price was too high, they might be enslaved
Joseph was elected to ring the door bell
A reluctant hero, as I’m sure you can tell
He rang, knocked and hastily stepped back
Angela pushed him forward with a handbag whack
Our trio stood there, knees a knocking’
The fear on their faces truly shocking
Stay or go, two choices beckoned
Their hero, Joseph chose the second
But then the door creaked open real slow
Angela grabbed Joseph before he could go
The brightness spilled out, a welcoming flame
But this could be part of the slave traders game
“Enter freely, go safely,” a voice seemed to sing,
“Leave behind some of the happiness you bring.”
They eyed each other with consternation

Somewhere before they’d seen this quotation
“Welcome, welcome, come in and sit down
Take the weight of your feet, we’ll show you around.
I’m sure you are thirsty, a glass of red?”
Did it come from a bottle or a vein instead?
Hesitantly they stepped into the light
What will happen to our trio tonight?

TO BE CONTINUED…….
