The children gathered round the door
Of the chocolatier’s sweet smelling store
They giggled and laughed, their faces aglow
Hoping the Easter Bunny would show
He stood in the middle of the floor
Surrounded by chocolate eggs galore
An Easter egg for every child
The Easter Bunny smiled!
But when he did his face did change
His features all did rearrange
His fangs shot out and covered his lips
Long finger nails past his finger tips
“Calm down now Bunny, the time’s not right
Show your true colours when the moon is bright.”
With the children asleep the parents will start
To hide Easter eggs in the garden, the darkest part.
All you have to do is wait
Use your chocolate smell as parent bait
Pounce on them as they pass by
Hypnotize with your evil eye
Drain them dry, the blood tastes good
How many more parents in this neighbourhood
But for now be kind and good and sweet
Give every child an Easter treat!!!
